Automatic Quality Control (AutoQC) system for OCPP-based communication between Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) and a Central System
This project presents an "Automatic Quality Control (AutoQC) system for OCPP-based communication between Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) and a Central System." The system accelerates and standardizes pre-delivery testing by automating test execution and log verification, thereby reducing reliance on protocol specialists. The architecture comprises a Frontend for test selection and result visualization, and a Backend that issues OCPP-related REST calls (e.g., Reset, ChangeConfiguration, GetConfiguration, TriggerMessage, Remote Start/Stop, ChangeAvailability) and continuously tails pm2 logs to infer outcomes in real time. Each test case is validated against predefined "success patterns" (stepcheck) and "error patterns" (steperror), producing a pass/fail checklist that is easy to review via a web interface. The design supports both fully automated and semi-automated/manual steps for flexibility in field use. By turning sequential log evidence into deterministic results, the system shortens testing time, reduces manual errors, and provides a repeatable QC workflow. The framework is readily extensible to cover additional OCPP scenarios and can be adapted to other IoT/automation domains that require reliable end-to-end verification.
